Three total strangers.  Barrister Charles, homeless old man Samuel, and young female florist Toni.  All are desperately unhappy people.  One is trapped in a loveless marriage; another is desperate to find his family; and the other is constantly subject to a harsh and unfeeling boyfriend.

An eerie ghost-child starts to appear to the three: an eight-year-old schoolboy with a bullet wound to his forehead.  The shocking spectre starts nudging, coercing and manoeuvring them – and constantly drawing their attention to the time of 10.16.  What connects the three strangers?  What does the child want?  As he starts to make their lives more difficult and desperate, the child grows more frantic and threatening.  Nothing can prepare the three for what awaits at 10.16 on one fateful day…
