Chris Roots - Editor


In a 15 year career, Chris has edited both critically acclaimed drama, and award winning documentaries including The Goodbye Plane – Kewhaven’s first film which was short-listed for the Academy Awards.  Other work - such as Gender Trouble - has been screened at film festivals around the world. He has also worked on two feature films Sprangaren and Paradiset.  Chris has edited television programmes for all the main UK broadcasters, as well as a raft of international distributors.  He has worked on the drama series Dream Team for SKY; and dramatisations of Orson Welles' 1938 transmission of War of the Worlds, The Great Train Robbery and The Hitler Diaries for the BBC. More recently, Chris edited FIFA's Official 1930 World Cup Film and has cut documentaries on diverse subjects such as the eruption of Mount St Helens, the forgotten voices of The Great War, Gaudi, WWII's Operation Market Garden and Islamic Art.
