SIR DEREK JACOBI TO LEAD IN WORLD WAR ONE FEATURE

Kewhaven Pictures is delighted to announce the attachment of acting giant Sir Derek Jacobi to their latest feature in development, THE LONG CARRY, a moving, untold story of The Great War, full of anguish and deprivation - yet set twenty miles from the Western Front.  Internment camps were neither POW camp, nor proper prison – but an ill-defined limbo, where foreign nationals, inconvenient criminals and wayward soldiers found themselves for months or years on end.  Without trial.

Written by David Bartlett, the film will be directed by him and produced by Will Poole.  Currently assembling crew, cast and financing, Kewhaven has joined forces with co-producer Christine Hartland of London-based Patchwork Productions.  “It certainly feels like we’re firing on all cylinders right from the off, and we anticipate a rewarding journey ahead,” says Will Poole.

Shooting will primarily take place in London. For investment or other involvement, please go to THE LONG CARRY on this site, or contact Will Poole.
